Mesquitta
I
am 26 and I live
in Birmingham.
I was
introduced to
poetry at
primary school,
I then forgot
about it
for so
many years as
situations
happen.
I then
began to start
writing again
for the past
four years and
now I cannot
seem to stop, I
love writing
poetry I find it
calms me as when
I write.
One day I
hope to produce
a book of
poetry.
BUBBLE
HEAD
Sweet
smell, a cute
chuckle
The cutest
smile, the touch
so gentle
Skin so smooth
the brain so
mental
The life
created, it;s
unbelievable
How she became
so conceivable

BEING
WANTED
Having
your hand held
Having your name
yelled
Phone ringing
all day
Text messages
delivered no
delay
Requests for
your opinion
Secrets told
they trust your
dominion
Being there for
someone to be
heard
Voice of reason,
or just one word
Accompanying
others for
support
Being reliable,
need to hold
that thought
Having a
shoulder to cry
on, followed by
the hug
Being modest
about it,
complete with a
shrug.

THE
THING
The
need for this is
addictive to me
Once I get it I
want more
gradually
Not making it
obvious keeping
it hidden
A lot of people
ask bit I can't
tell it's
forbidden
Only two people,
really they know
How and when I
get this cause I
let it show
To me this
addiction is
hard to get
But have
realised it's
not my time yet
When I get it
and all in good
time
I will love it
and cherish it
and will be all
mine

OUT
ON THE TOWN
Getting
excited about a
night out
Putting your
face on for
those about
Getting your
wardrobe lay it
out to wear
Making sure you
look your best
so everyone can
stare
Making sure you
have money, more
than some
Making sure you
have enough to
spend and have
some fun
In the taxi to
get to that
place
Stroll in so
everyone sees
your face
Hear the beats
pumping out loud
Showing off your
moves in the
middle of the
crowd
Scanning the
place for that
special flirt
Have that friend
nearby to dish
the dirt
The club's
nearly finished
the musics died
down
The nights not
over lets go to
town
Go to another
club the best
club to be
Get the drinks
in one for you
and for me.
