Well to start off, I'm Catherine as you probably have guessed and I am currently a year 11 student at school and my very popular hobby is to write poetry and I have started on a teenage novel which I can relate to people of my age so I really find an interest in writing that. If I could be anything when I'm older it would have to be a screenwriter, that would be my ultimate ambition; to be able to write my ideas down for people to share in television dramas and films. Well I find writing a really good way to express my emotions and the ones that I have seen in others. Well that sum's up the writing side of me. Hope you enjoy my poetry.

A Figuration of Feelings

Wanting to show what's inside,
But this I just have to hide,
Don't even know what I want to do,
I wish this wasn't true.

Not even sure of what I feel,
So how do I know what's real?
So I need this time,
To figure out these feelings of mine.

How do I know what's meant to be,
Or just what I want to see,
Everyday i don't know if to take a step closer or one back,
At the moment I can't choose what I want to be my future track.

Treasured Love Of Truth

I couldn't love you any other way,
Cos' it's the same everyday,
You may not give it back,
But I keep getting led down this one way track.

Seeing you all the time,
Feels like a crime,
That I cant cuddle you,
And say how this love is true.

Because even when your with your man,
I still love you with all that I can,
And your smile is all I need to see,
To make me feel happy.

A Friendship In Need Of Fixing

I would give up everything for you,
Cos' my loyalty is so true,
But when its my time of need,
Where is your good deed?

When you were weak,
I showed care at its peak,
I stood there when your World walked out,
But now I'm on a low; its your call, your shout.

I thought you'd learn,
That after everything, that you'd be here in return,
Hurt so bad,
But your the only one who can stop me being so sad.

I don't know how to tell you my pain,
Cos' I'm scared that upon our friendship there's more strain,
I want you to spend time on me,
Then a true friendship I will see.

Just The Beginning

With a helping hand,
You'll son understand,
How much you mean,
Your my rock on which I lean.

In time you will you'll see,
Just what we can be,
We just need to grow,
For trust is what we'll show.

Now we're only started,
But forever we'll never never be parted,
You may not picture us strong,
But together we'll be for long.

Loneliness Upon Me

When I needed you there,
You did not care,
I don't see you no more,
Since you walked out the door.
 
I needed you everyday,
But I couldn't find the words to say,
Now you've taken apart of me,
There's no more light to see.
 
I'm stuck in the dark,
Just sitting here in the park,
Waiting to catch another glimpse of you,
Cos' what we once had felt so true
