New Fiction
New Fiction was launched in 1992 to provide a platform for short story writers to promote their work to a wider audience.
First and foremost stories are selected on merit - normally 25 to 30 stories per book. New Fiction is looking for stories which are well written and a 'good read'.
If a story is accepted for publication, the author will be asked to support the book by purchasing a minimum of three copies at the retail price of
£9.95 per book. Further copies will be available to authors at a reduced price of only
£5.95 per book.
The ownership of copyright remains with the author. The author agrees to grant First British Serial Rights to New Fiction, which means the rights to publish the work for the first time.
