Lisa shone the torch into his face. 'It's not,' she said, 'it's someone playing.'

She disappeared round the rocks, and he followed reluctantly. She had the torch.

Stephanie Baudet lives in Great Missenden, in Buckinghamshire, with her husband, Maurice, and her two cats, Coco and Jaffa.
